COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

The policies and procedures outlined below have been put in place for taking classes at the studio starting June 8th, 2020 to protect against the spread of COVID-19. Please read this page thoroughly before taking classes at the studio. Thank you for your commitment to keeping yourself and each other safe and healthy.

General Class Policies

-Limit of 4 students per in-person class to ensure social distancing between mats.

-Pre-registration will be required for all classes. Register online or via phone by calling or texting 815-236-5651.  NO WALK-INS.

-To respect teachers' time, students must register or cancel at least 2 hours before class. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before class will not receive a refund.

-Packages that were previously put on hold back in March will reactivate on June 8th. Existing package holders must register for classes via phone (call or text).

-All students - new and returning - will need to sign a COVID-19 waiver before their first class back in the studio.

-Increased studio cleaning procedures are in place.

-A waste basket will be available in the bathroom only. Please don't bring any garbage into the studio.

-Please stay home if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (including respiratory symptoms from allergies), or if someone you live with is sick or quarantined.

Before Class

-Doors will open for class 10 minutes before class start time.

-Minimize personal belongings brought in to the studio.

-Use provided hand sanitizer after entering.

-Teachers will sign students in to minimize shared contact of pen and clipboard.

-You will be asked 3 screening questions. If the answer is "Yes" to any question, you will be asked to leave the studio. No refund will be given.

     1.Are you currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms?

     2.Have you had a cough or fever in the last two weeks?

     3.Do you live with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

-Wear a mask or face covering until you are settled on your mat.

During Class

-You must bring your own mat and props. Chairs will still be provided and cleaned after each use.

          -Minimum Props Required for Restorative: 1 bolster (or some pillows), 2-3 blankets, 1 block

          -Suggested/optional Props for other classes: 1 blanket, 1 block, and any other props you like to use in your practice

-Studio props can be purchased here at a discounted rate.

-Tape markers have been put on the floor to guide mat placement.

-Masks can be kept on or removed during class based on student preference.

-No physical assists or adjustments will be given and the instructor will stay on their mat throughout the class.

After Class

-Clorox wipes available for cleaning your mat.

-Teacher will complete the studio cleaning checklist to ensure a clean space for the next class.
